Nigeria’s most authoritative brands and advertising focused magazine, Marketing Space has concluded plans to honour outstanding brands, agencies and practitioners in the Nigerian Integrated Marketing Communications industry for their contributions to the industry and consumers during its 8th years anniversary celebration.
The brands to be honoured this year are StarTimes and Amaizing Day Cereal from the staple of Flour Mills Nigeria, while agencies and practitioners receiving awards include; BNSL Ltd, Mr Kayode Ebatemehin, CEO, Bluebird Communications, Mrs. Ify Onukwuba, CEO, NAS Advertising Ltd, Mr. Ropo Alabi, CEO, LinkPoint Int’l Resources Ltd, Mrs, Tolulope Medebem, CEO, Aster Integrated Marketing Ltd, and Mr. Abiodun Oshinibosi, CEO, Abelinis Limited.
The award presentation which is scheduled to hold on the 15th and 16th December, 2022 at the recipients’ offices across Lagos will also honor Afromedia Ltd, Air Power Ltd, Teksight Edge Ltd, Quadrant MSL and Starcom Media Perspectives.
Speaking on the anniversary and awards, Publisher of Marketing Space magazine, Ayobami Lukman Ishau, said the journey of the magazine’s operation dated back to 2014 when the editorial board of the publication decided to play a major role in the Nigerian marketing communication industry and ever since, the magazine has continued to contribute its quota to the industry.
In his words: “We are celebrating 8th years anniversary to recognize outstanding brands, agencies and IMC Practitioners for their immense contributions to the industry.
“We started celebrating brands and industry practitioners last year when our operation turned seven years, we honoured excellence in creative advertising, Public Relations, Media, Experiential Marketing, Outdoor Advertising and Marketing.
‘’We are not in doubt that these awardees truly deserve the honour at this time and we wish to appreciate the contributions they have made so far’’, he said.
He added that, ‘’The honour is to show our gratitude to these organisations for immense support they have extended to us since we began operation in Nigeria eight years ago.’’
“Our hope is to extend the recognition to other sectors of the Nigerian economy when the publication clocks ten years in 2024, where individuals that have contributed to the economy would be honoured’’.
Marketing Space magazine started operation in the IMC industry eight years ago, since inception, the publication has been consistent in ensuring that the industry is well covered, and monitor activities of brands, agencies and practitioners.
